Hi YK, This request will impact Google certification (e.g. CTS-Verifier Bluetooth Test) The Bluetooth test requires a smartphone paired with the STB. For Swan: the default scan mode is SCAN_MODE_CONNECTABLE, so during testing CTS-Verifier, the Smart Phone can not find the STB in CTS-Verifier apps. We need to press the front panel BT button to change scan mode to SCAN_MODE_CONNECTABLE_DISCOVERABLE, so that we can pass this item. For Eagle: If we change the default scan mode to SCAN_MODE_CONNECTABLE. there is no physical button on Eagle, we can not change the scan mode to SCAN_MODE_CONNECTABLE_DISCOVERABLE. => During testing CTS-Verifier, a SmartPhone can not discover Eagle, it will impact certification. To solve this problem, I think Digicap can make the UI to let the User change the scan mode. They can use BluetoothAdapter API, setScanMode (It's hidden API) Digcap can design the switch The default value is on on means SCAN_MODE_CONNECTABLE_DISCOVERABLE. off means SCAN_MODE_CONNECTABLE When QoS Team receive VOC, the Qos team can guide user to turn off discover mode by Digicap's UI. Hi Jason SKB's HomeUI is currently unable to include this BT features. So SKB is asking manufacturers to add menus to places like google system setting to implement this function. https://jira.skbroadband.com/browse/BPM-22402 Please review whether this feature can be implemented by adding this menu to the Google Settings menu. default is SCAN_MODE_CONNECTABLE Thank you YK.Jung |

Hi YK, Regarding "default is SCAN_MODE_CONNECTABLE" We have the following question, There is an ATV remote service that allows you to control the STB by your smartphone (via bluetooth). As Sangmin investigates in the following link https://mantis.cnsbg.foxconn.com/vaas/view.php?id=1438 Boot => SCAN_MODE_CONNECTABLE ATV remote service start run in background => SCAN_MODE_CONNECTABLE_DISCOVERABLE, waiting for user to pair. For Swan, there is a A2dpDeviceService app => Change mode from SCAN_MODE_CONNECTABLE_DISCOVERABLE to SCAN_MODE_CONNECTABLE again so When users open "Google TV" app on their phone, they can not discover STB. But there is a BT button on front panel of Swan, Therefore, users can solve problems intuitively But for eagle, there is no BT button on front panel, if user want to use this feature, they can not discover STB via bluetooth. By the way, there is a item in SmokeTest to check ATV Remote function via bluetooth (Only in IR/LR test) But as you know, Google TAM also have Smart3 in his home, so I don’t know if he usually uses this function. That is why I suggested before, The default value is on on means SCAN_MODE_CONNECTABLE_DISCOVERABLE. off means SCAN_MODE_CONNECTABLE Thanks, Jason |

Hi YK, The switching function is almost finished. Now we want to know the UI part. Where should I put the switch? 1. Does SKB want users to obviously see the switch? If so, please let me know the path of TvSettings UI? 2. if SKB doesn't want to users to see it obviously. currently, I'll implement it in Development options. When Qos team receive VOC, The Qos team must guide field user to enable Developer options and disable Bluetooth Discoverability. By the way, I implemented on ATV12, if there are no issues, I will migrate it to ATV10. Thanks, Jason |

Can you display the device name? INTEK modified it like this. ( attach a picture file. ) String is "device name" (으)로 인식 가능합니다.
